Port Moresby is the capital city of PNG and also the International Airport. Qantas and Air Niugini both have daily flights from Australia to Port Moresby.
There are also weekly flights from Singapore, Manila, Hong Kong and Tokyo besides direct connections with Honiara (Solomon Islands) and Nadi (Fiji).
From Port Moresby there is daily service to Gurney airport in Alotau , Milne Bay Province.
A visa is required for entry to PNG and 30-day visas are issued upon arrival at the airport in Port Moresby and cost 100 Kina or approximately $35 US. Longer visas are available through PNG embassies.
