Napatana Lodge
Napatana Lodge is the first eco-tourism lodge in Alotau, which is set in beautiful tropical gardens just back from the beach. It is a traditionally built pole house that reflects Milne Bay architecture and also displays the traditional building skills of local craftsman.
The friendly, open-air bar/restaurant overlooks the bay where cool breezes can be felt releasing an ambience of serenity. Also, Napatana Lodge is a great meeting place for visitors to interact with the local community and wildlife.
Animal Sanctuary
Your visit to Napatana Lodge will be enhanced by the peaceful surrounds where birds and other animals (which have been saved by our animal sanctuary) live in harmony with their environment and Napatana Lodge. These rescued or sick animals have been nurtured to full health and released, but some refuse to move on and have become regular guests throughout the Lodge!
